Ines Ligron, a native of Montpellier, France, is the former director of Miss Universe Japan, an organization that has been described as "Japan's beauty queen factory."[1]

Ligron founded her first business as the owner of a beauty center and spa at the age of twenty-one. Ligron went on to sell the business at its peak five years later in order to travel the world taking on the fashion industry.[2]
In 1995, Ligron became the Asia/Pacific director of IMG model in Hong Kong.[1]
In 1998, Donald Trump appointed Ines Ligron as the national director of the Miss Universe Japan organization.[3] She has produced three top 5 finishes within four years beginning with Miyako Miyazaki finishing 5th in 2003, Kurara Chibana finishing 1st Runner-Up in 2006, and Riyo Mori winning Miss Universe 2007--the first time in 48 years a Japanese woman won the title.[1][4]
